Coronavirus Update – What measures are in place to keep you safe?
The Practice is open and continues to treat patients with routine, urgent and complex needs. We have implemented measures to ensure patient and staff safety when visiting the Practice. We have installed air purifying devices which control the number of air exchanges within each treatment facility. This allows the Practice to safely perform Aerosol Generating Procedures. All Clinical staff are fit tested to wear FFP2/3 Face Masks and all staff are routinely tested for Coronavirus.
Practice News – New Staff Members
We welcome three new staff members to complement our Team! Dentist Dr Adarsh Patel, a new Practice Manager and a Trainee Dental Nurse all joined the Practice in January 2021.
Oral Health – Top Tip!
Start interdental cleaning – Brushing may come before flossing in the dictionary, but it shouldn’t when it comes to our teeth. Research shows that interdental cleaning before brushing is the best way to clean our teeth effectively.
The action of cleaning in between our teeth, using interdental brushing, dental floss or water or air flossers, loosens bacteria and food debris from between our teeth. This allows brushing to be much more successful at removing plaque.
Studies show that those of us who interdentally clean before brushing are left with a much cleaner mouth than those who did it afterwards. Using interdental brushes or flossing is a key part of any good oral health routine.
We hope you find the information useful and look forward to seeing you at your next appointment.
